About Me
Welcome! I am Elisabeth (she/her) a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I'm really glad you are here. I provide counseling to individuals in Colorado and Indiana. My goal is to create a soft place to land, grow, feel challenged and supported. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, adhd, stress, relationships, life transitions, and trauma. My practice is based on the belief that when our experiences are met with compassion and curiosity we can grow and create more fullness in our lives and relationships. My approach to therapy is primarily rooted in modalities from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, with a strong emphasis on body-based therapies, mindfulness and self-compassion. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming to all people.
I received my bachelors degree from Indiana University and worked as a second grade teacher in Houston and Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi, Africa. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago in 2013. I am a recent transplant to Indiana from Colorado and enjoy being outdoors, adventures, and spending time with my family.
